When I got attacked

Well, not literally.

The Viral Gastroenteritis Intestinal virus randomly attacked me on Saturday. My immune system came tumbling down like Humpty Dumpty who sat on that brick wall. It has been my most painful 5 days experience of my life. During the span of my recovery, I made a couple of new best friends, really, and I think should be nicer to them once in a while. They are my soap, my toilet bowl, my toilet roll, my toilet seat, my toilet flush...basically, everything that is in the toilet is my best friend. Who said you could only have one best friend aye? hah.

This is embarrassing, but I had to even use my baby potty again just because I can't make it in time to the toilet to let all the stinky stuff out. It's amazing how I could still fit the hole. I was vomiting and peeing poop through my butt countless of times after every hour. I even got so tired of washing my own butt. I thought all this will stop after a while (because I thought I was strong and I could go through all this, but I was so wrong) but it didn't. So after two days, my mother took me to a doctor. But that doctor didn't managed to help me either. I went home still very sick. The next day, which is Tuesday, which is also yesterday, my grandparents heard about me and the drove over. *touched* However, their presence scared me. Not physically but verbally because they went on and on about how serious my sickness could be. That I must be admitted to the hospital (for drips. Because I haven been eating. Everything that enters my mouth comes out instantly through my butt or my mouth again). That I have to drink porridge water (that's the worst part for I never took a liking for porridge). My mother saw me freaked out a little so she came in and decided to take me to see another clinic which in long story short saved my life.

Turns out it wasn't food poisoning (which the whole world thought it was), but a viral attack (the long complex scientific name I used above^). He gave some medicines and it helped a whole lot. But I couldn't escape the drinking of porridge water curse. So I had to. Right now, after 5 days, I'm feeling a whole lot better and I'm sitting here telling you what happened to me.

It's funny how God revealed a little bit of himself to me. In my weakest time, he spoke to me. I've realized how prideful and ignorant I have been. How I have been building invisible barriers around me, protecting myself from the world(when I know I'm suppose to get out of my comfort zone and make friends and be the influencer). How bitter I have been. How I've been shortening devo time. How selfish I've been. How I've changed in a way I didn't want myself to. I hated myself for it but I am thankful that He made me realized that so I have another chance to be a better person to fulfill whatever He has in store for me. Today, with the readers as my witness, I oath to see things the way God see things. If I accomplish that, I believe life would look and feel and taste a whole lot better.

Not only that. There were couple of times where I played some Christian songs to soothe my tummy ache and it worked. The words from the songs came so alive me that it scares me to only realize that the words were there only at that time.

"Our God is healer" - Our God; Chris Tomlin

"Let now the weak say I have strength by the spirit of God" - Saviour King; Hillsong

"Jesus, beautiful Saviour" - Beautiful Saviour; Planetshakers

"My Jesus, My Saviour" - Shout to the Lord (my all time favourite Children Church's song)

All these pulled me through all the pain and suffering I was going through. It was also through these songs that I've realized how blessed I am to be here although I'm sick. How blessed am I to have perfectly fine working body limbs. How blessed I am to have a roof above my head without working. How blessed I am to have a God who doesn't count my sins. How blessed I am to have parents who love me and would do anything for me. How blessed I am to have a brother that will scold me whenever I have wrong table manners. How blessed I have to have people to call friends. For all these, I thank you Lord, with all my heart. Sometimes I think God has blessed me too much till I reckon that He should start blessing other people.

"You're rich in love and You're slow to anger.
You're name is great and You're heart is kind.
For all Your goodness I will keep on singing
Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find"
-
1000 Reasons (Bless the Lord) ; Matt Redman

"Higher than the mountains that I face.
Stronger than the power of the grave.
Constant through the trial and the change.
One thing remains,

Your love never fails, never gives up, never runs out me."
-
One thing remains; Jesus Culture.

Don't be as dumb as me. Don't wait for the moment when you're so sick to realize how great, how wonderful, how amazing, how awesome God is. Please, don't. I would not want you to miss out.

He loves you, He will always be there by your side and He's waiting for you.

I'm still in one piece, if you were wondering. :)

To seek or not to seek perfection?

Many strive to be perfect. But what many don't see is that no matter how hard one tries to be perfect, one will never be perfect. We are, after all, just human beings. So why waste time worrying of what other's think? So what if you make a mistake? Embrace your mistakes and learn from them. We are who we are because of our mistakes. How can you walk if you don't fall first? How will you succeed if you don't know the taste failure? If one really is perfect, one will never have room for improvement. One will never be better. One will stay the same, forever. Therefore,
perfection won't let you go far.

***

I'm struggling mentally, physically and spiritually. I've been doing a lot of thinking lately and this led me to confusion, depression &the lack of motivation to study. I'm confused because I don't know how my future is going to turn out or where I'm going or what I'm going to do. I'm depressed because I'm having doubts - I don't know whether I'll get to the destination that God wants me to go. I can't study because my mind is too caught up with all these and have caused myself unnecessary stress. Plus, the constant countdown reminder I get for trials aren't helping.

I know that God has a blueprint for my life, but I can't help but worry. My future is a blur if you asked me what the future is like to me. Because I can't picture myself being a grown-up or a worker. I just can't. Well maybe, just maybe, it's an indication to not worry so much because God is in control and worrying won't benefit me. Worrying won't add hours to the day. Worrying can't stop what is going to happen. So, I should stop worrying, unnecessarily.

I need a new strategy to study. Any ideas? Somehow, what motivates me to study is to worry. To worry that I might fail at a certain subject. To worry that I can't get into the stream I want next year. So, is worrying a good thing? Maybe worrying a little is good for me. Heh, the irony.

*I hope I'm making sense. :)

Recently, I have been asked to teach in Children's Church along with a few friends of my age. We are paired up with a teacher to work together to explain a lesson to the children. It was pretty intimidating because these teachers have been around for ages (every since I started going for Sunday School) and they are extremely professional... So, long story short, I taught today, for the second time. My first time was last Sunday. :D

It went alright, thanks to the guidance of my "boss". But, that's not my point. I was given an entire outlook of the lesson and I had to read and understand the lesson. After so many years of being a Sunday Schooler, I manage to get a little behind the scene taste of being a teacher. It was not easy - to get the points in your head, to seize the attention of children &to make the lesson interesting. I really salute all Children Church teachers. But, that's not my point too.

The main point of today's Sunday School lesson is The Devil is a Liar. You see, the devil is always out to lie to us, to make us think that we're failures, to stop us from being the person we are created to be. He is out to break &destroy. That's when God comes in. God is truth and we are his most treasured possession. We are uniquely created and He gave each of us different talents, purpose &calling. It's so easy to trust God, because everything He says is so true, so pure &so sincere. Yet, we - I included - still succumb to the lies that the devil says.

Serving in the children's ministry has definitely benefited me a whole lot. I am never too old to be reminded that the devil is the father of all lies for no matter how old I get, the devil will be there, ready to shoot me with lies. The things that are taught in children's church takes the children very far in life.
It's the foundation for the battle - between us and the devil - that we - Christians - face.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against authorities, against the power of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
- Ephesians 6:12

I also learnt that I don't have to be perfect to serve. There's nothing I can do that will ever be good or big enough for God for He is just plain great! I don't have to be afraid of making mistakes because I have to make my own mistakes and learn from them, in order to be better.

Not only that, serving in the children ministry is fun. The children's bright and dazzling smile always make my Sundays albeit they can be a little cheeky a memorable one. I just love those cutie pies so so much!

Till then.

Overwhelmed with serenity

Bonjour and hello! (:
I've been away from here for a week and it feels so good to be blogging again. *I love the new blogger! I wanted to log in here to post something last week but couldn't for I was busy cramming Geography, KH, History and Science facts &notes into the little brain of mine. It's amazing how the brain works. It'll be cooler if it had a USB cable or something that would store information without requiring any reading or memorizing. But, of course, that only happens in my dreams and nothing comes without hard work! I regretted for not being determined enough to insert more facts &notes before the exams started. Tsk tsk. Something I must change!

Camporama in twelve, 12 days!

The reason why I'm here typing all these now is because I'm cool. Nah, just kidding. My exams finished today!! And it's a Friday - prepare for the sentence - IT'S FRIDAY, FRIDAY, GOTTA GET IT DOWN ON FRIDAY! :) PARTYING PARTYING YEAH! :) *If you got the sentence right, 10 points for you!

I've got some pictures for you! And I'll write along the way.

This is my Art exam's masterpiece. It's pretty hilarious. You're allowed to laugh, for now. Well, my Art teacher - which so happened to be the teacher in charge to set the Art practical questions - came out with extremely extraordinary questions for us to draw. I had a hard time picking. In the end, I thought of fulfilling Q6 and draw aliens with cool weapons and uniform with a spaceship in the background. And the above was the best idea I came out with. It's really weird, but hey, aliens are suppose to be weird right? The most right alien character was inspired by the one and only Spongebob Squarepants. I am really satisfied with the little alien in the little UFO-like vehicle on the right. heehee.

These crayons are the best! I guess I made the best out of them today for there was so much to colour! I mixed colours weirdly today and it was really odd. But I reckon that the whole drawing's theme is Weird, so I really hope that my drawing will turn out okay. I like Art for there's no right or wrong when it comes to Art (unless one decides to mix colours oddly). It's between you and your wildest imagination.

*Rebekah had a crayon fever today. She used my crayons and started colouring like crazy on her notebook. I find that part of her really amusing.

This was taken outside of my lovely home. It was such a magnificent sight! It looks better in real life though. Seriously, no one can paint the sky better than God. He makes the best out of everything; He makes everything beautiful. :) Speaking of homes, I reckon that homes are the best. No matter how big other people's house may be, there's no place like home. Home is a place where I can be my usual messy self. I love my home! *Have to do some cleaning up. My table is filled with reference and workbooks! Such a messy messy sight! It's painful for the eye!

Although Midterms are over, I still have projects waiting for me. I would really want to complete my projects as soon as possible for it's painful for the brain! :)

Till then,
Stay happy! (:

The time has come

Now, my friends, the time has come to start the CAMPORAMA COUNTDOWN!
22. Twenty-two days to the 30th May 2012.
Well, this is no ordinary camp alright. I, along with many other people, have to wait 4 years - 4 extremely long years - for this camp.  It's like waiting for the Olympics.

(My) Definition of Camporama : Pure Awesome.
This once-in-four years camp is fun-filled with mind-blowing activities. We had Archery, Flying Fox, Kayaking, Laser Tag, Frisbee and many more activities for the last Camporama. Trust me, it gets better each Camporama. :) We are divided into different different states this year (we were India for the last Camporama). We, Selangor #7, are SARAWAK this year! So, we'll be dressing, eating, acting like a Sarawak-ian during Camporama. Oh-so-much-fun! Can't wait. :)
GO SARAWAAAAK!

(My) Definition of Stress : A kind of emotion that is definitely undesirable by mankind. It has the ability to make pimples pop up on one's face and even turn one's black hair white. It, too, has the ability to make one crave for food at random times. :)

Hello and how do you do? :)
The time has come to (I can't believe I'm saying this) start the Midterms countdown too. Well, I'm not going to make it so easy for you to read the countdown timer, I'm going to make you move your brain a little. So... 10-5-3+3-2-1+3-1-2=? days to Midterm. I'm feeling super insecure for this Midterm because I haven cover all the chapters for all the subjects, yet.

Though my parents are being extremely nice with me this time - for not saying anything that's related to Midterms or exams or anything like that, I can still feel the pressure; I can feel the stress! Well, maybe, just maybe, I'm the one who's creating all the stress for myself. I have to admit (same confession for the past 3 years) that I've a lot of competition this year. Good thing? Bad thing? My classmates are extremely smart to the max. Shoot them with a History question and BAM, they answer it straight away. They make me feel dumb. :( In one way or another, it's a kind of encouragement for me. It gives me the determination to study and to want to get good grades. *trying to be as optimistic as I can* 10 points for me! :)

So Midterms are here and somehow I can't wait to get over with Midterms. I want to get it over with and start my movie marathon! *woot woot* I enjoyed the generosity of Astro for the past 10 days. Thank you Astro for showing almost 130 channels for free! I managed got to watch 'I am Number Four', a little bit of 'Prom' and 'Ramona and Beezus'. I got to watch JUNIORS MASTERCHIEF TOO! Boy, oh, boy, those kids got talent! The best meal I've ever cooked is Maggie Mee. :) BAM. I KNOW YOUR JEALOUS :P I can cook the best Maggie Mee (soup/dry). Teeehee. #whatagreatachievement.

Till then,
Haha. :)

I'll taste every moment and live it out loud

I want to lie down on a field flooded with pretty pretty daisies;
I want to breathe in the sweet smell of daisies. :)

And, I want to do star gazing when I'm in another country. I hardly find any stars in Malaysia! I'll probably grab my sleeping bag and just fall asleep under the starry night sky.
NO ONE CAN STOP ME!

Hello, hello! (:
I'm extremely happy right now. Blogger changed! Blogger made blogging so much more exciting. Great job, Blogger! And I finally know how to make my picture look extremely big! *O, I'm a happy happy girl! haha. Blogger's sudden change is one of the reasons I decided to post something here today. Heehee. Since I can't think of anything in particular to blog about today, I shall blog about yesterday.

I have to say, yesterday was great.

As usual, I stayed back for Yellow house practice. I was feeling lazy. It's not my fault that the weather is so suitable for nap time. I miss being a little kid when nap times are necessary. Boy O boy, the advantages of being a little kid. Wait a minute, I'm still a kid, in the inside, so that means, nap time is necessary for me!

Had a heart-to-heart conversation with the two oh-so-beautiful Becks and Jia Wen. It was as if we were  taking a stroll in our fantasy world. We were talking and talking and talking. From fashion to fashion to boys. Little did I know that we think alike and you know what they say, 'great minds think alike'! And, little did I know that I wasn't the only one who would dreams and fantasize things. I guess its a girls' thing. But, hey, it's not wrong right? Can't wait to get over with PMR and shop with the two oh-so-beautiful

By God's grace, recess meeting happened as usual and our oh-so-wise CF President shared today. He shared about taking refuge in our pure awesome God. God created everything; from the dinosaurs to the elephants to the tigers to the dogs to the birds to the butterfly to the ant; Big or small, everything is created by God. Everything you see, is a creation of God. And therefore God is everywhere. When you think He's not there, He's there. It's so good to know that.

'For I know the plans I have for you' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.' -Jermiah 29:11

Truly, I worship an awesome God! He has everything planed out for me, a sinner. He died when He didn't have to. It's true that I face many problems and I question (or even complain to) God whenever I'm faced with a situation. But, I know that He, the Almighty, has a plan for me. :) If I have to wait for an answer, I'll wait.

*I've got a little idea for story #3. With mid-terms and project assignments in my way, I'm not sure when I'll be able to write it and post it up.

Till then,
I'll taste every moment and live it out loud.

Breathing in, slowly.

Truly, ''life without love is really worthless''.

Bonjour and how is your week? :)
ITS FRIDAY! YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS? ITS TIME TO PARTY. BUT BEFORE THAT, I HAVE TO STUDY. IT RYHMES, I think. But yeah. :D I got the timetable for my Midterm and guess what? My Midterm is starting on the 10th instead of the 4th of May. God is good. More time to study!

Today, I did something that I have been craving to do for the past few weeks - I rode my bike again! I would take a picture of my cute bicycle but my dad kind of misplaced my camera, so I have no choice but to google a picture of a bike, and I got the above picture.

My superly awesome dad took time off from his busy schedule to take my lovely 3-year-old bike for a lil' make over. Well, it's not really a make over, but my dad got my brakes and the basket that's hanging in front of my bike fixed. My dad hired air and got my tires pumped! Woohoo! I am one happy girl alright.

I grabbed my iPod and off I went bike riding around my neighbourhood. I was blasting music into my ears at the start of the bike ride, but I decided to stop the blasting of music and let whatever sounds -the sounds of trees dancing, the sounds of cars, the sounds of children's laughter- that are around to fill my ears. It was around 7 when I rode my bike. I was expecting raindrops to fall from the sky, for it was extremely dark, but none fell - thank God.

I took my usual route around the neighbourhood and decided to be like Katniss; so I did a lil' 'trespassing' to another 'District' - I rode through a little green fence gate and entered another neighbourhood. I felt so heroine-ish. :)

It felt great to be riding on a bike after such a long time - a long and stressful time. I have to say, this year has been my most hectic year. But, let's not let the hectic-ness ruin my awesome bike riding moment.

It felt great to be riding again; it felt great to feel the cool crisp evening air; it felt soothing to see the serene park; it felt good to see kids playing in the park; it felt awesome to see my alma mater - SJK (C) Yuk Chai, again.

I thank God for bikes. And I thank my daddy for fixing my bike. :) This only means one thing, *echos one thingg*, more bike rides! :)

The time goes ticking...

'I don't wanna be someone who walks away so easily. I'm here to stay and make the difference that I can make.' ~ I won't give up; Jason Mraz.

And the time goes ticking like nobody's business. It's insane I tell you, insane! *Oh, how I wish I have the ability to freeze time! Well, here's some good news, turns out, I won't be taking the blood test! Pheww. Somehow my mommy said it would be risky to take blood tests in schools. So no blood test for me. :)

Today, I got the shock of my life. For the past few weeks, I always thought that Mid-term will start on the 7th of May. But, turns out, it's going to start on the 4th of May. Pn Molly, my tuition teacher, told us that the PJ district might taking the same test paper. Which makes Mid-term more scary because it will be insanely tough! And then, there's Pn Chin, my maths teacher. She is constantly reminding us how important Mid-term is for our streaming next year.

I'm starting to feel the pressure already. And boy, it's not a great feeling.

Here's a random thought. Whenever I hear the word 'District', I'll always think of District Twelve (a district that exists in the Hunger Games movie). And whenever I think of Hunger Games, I'll think of Peeta. :D

Anyhoos, any ideas for my 3rd story? I'm trying to think of something for it. But, I'll put it on hold for my exams are coming up and I really have to study. :) If you have any ideas, do let me know! Teehee.

Till then,
Always be merry! :)

11:40pm

Hello hello! (:
Well, this ain't a very serious post or anything. It's just me ranting about what's going to happen soon. And I'm freaking out like crazy right now. Well, today in school, we were told that we're gonna take a jab this Thursday. So, yeah. It didn't sound that bad to me until I reached home and told my mommy about it. And guess what, turns out it's not a jab and its a blood test. They're gonna check my antibodies level and stuff and make sure I'm healthy and all. BLOOD TEST I REPEAT. BLOOD TEST. WHERE YOUR/MY RED FLUID WILL BE FLOWING INTO A SYRINGE. THAT'S FREAKY!

Okay, maybe it's not that freaking for some of you guys out there. Well, you see, I'm a girl and all... haha. I ain't gonna use the girl excuse. Well, I'm just scared. And I'm freaking out right now. The last time I checked, it was 11:40 when I started freaking out and it's 11:44pm now. I've been freaking out for 4 minutes and counting now. What a great way to end a Monday night aye? *heart beats super fast!*

*deep breath in* *deep breath out*
Keep me in your prayers. I'm super-duper-utterly scared. :)
Thankies!

One Thing

'Only One Thing is needed.' ~ Luke 10:42

It felt weird to wake up to my super comfy room because for the past 2 nights, I've been waking up to two extremely hyper, crazy, cute and sweet girls - Becky and Tze-Ning - in Room 103, MBS, Kundang, Rawang. Don't get me wrong, I love my room, but it felt a lil' weird. It then hit me; it hit me hard, alright. CF camp 2012 was over. :(

I have to admit, CF camp 2012 was the best CF camp I've ever attended. From the sessions to the food to the bonding sessions to the games to the friendly people and the warm sweet smiles, CF camp 2012 was a blast! If you've missed it, man, you missed a whole lot alright! But, not to worry, there's always next year! And CF camp gets better each year! :)

On Monday, the 12 of March, 4 bus full of students headed for MBS in the morning. The four of us, Alexia, Melaine, yours truly and yours truly's Elmo bag conquered the back seats! It was a super bumpy ride to MBS. I never expected it to be that bumpy. Sure, I've had many bus ride before and I've never experienced such bumpy-ness in my entire life before! It was insane... but fun. Whenever the bus crosses a bump on the road, our butts will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fly and leave the seats for 2-3 seconds and land hard on the seats again. Such fun! :)) haha. But all the bumpy-ness was worth it. Trust me.

AND WE ARRIVED!!!!! (:
The bus ride wasn't as long as I expected it to be. I guess it was a good thing! :)

Altogether we had 5 sessions! (in 3 days!) wow right? It was 5 super fun and exciting sessions! I've learnt so much! And I reckon that the 4th session really pulled my heartstrings. 'Love your parents before its too late'. No one has a perfect family. You may have a happy family, but no one has a perfect family. It's so true that parents are like the most amazing being on Earth. They'll love you like crazy. If I were to make a 'Who loves me the most list' they'll be number 2. *God will always be number one. (: No matter what sin I've commited, my parents will always be there to love me. I'm not a perfect daughter, but I'm my parents only daughter (I have an older brother only) :) So I'll try my very best to be the best daughter I can be. I'm sorry mom and pa for not listening to you at times and all. I'm extremely sorry. But from today onwards, I'll be a better daughter than I was before.

The devil is always on the hunt to bring us down. And the his most effective way of destroying us is to destroy our family; our relationships. Be careful my friends! :)) No matter how naggy your parents can be, always remember that your parents always want the best for you!

Indeed, I've learned a whole lot. I've learnt to let God take control. I've learnt to strip my pride away and to love myself more. I've learnt that God is always there when I need Him. I've learnt how to be grateful and how important it is to have a teachable heart. And most importantly, I'm reminded that God loves me so so so much! :')

CF has played an extremely big role in my life. CF helped me to get on the right track. Without CF, I don't think I can survive this internet generation; I don't think I can live with all the temptations that are around me. I thank God for CF! I thank God for the people that are so passionate about CF.

*In case you do not know what's CF, CF is a Christian Fellowship that is open for everyone (and I mean EVERYONE!) from the young to the young at heart and CF loves everyone! :) Always remember that you're wonderfully made and you're beautiful my friend! :) He loves you! <3

*Note to self.

Life is too short for me to be living in fear; life is too short for me to be in doubt all the time; life is too short for me to worry; life is too short for me to be so self-concious; life is too short for me to be feeling comfortable all the time; life is too short for me to be discourage! Life is just too short for all these patty things! Stand up, speak up and take the first step! Don't wait! Be courageous!

Enough is enough. I don't want to be stagnant anymore.

I'm here but I'm not?

Hello (: I'm feeling rather down today and the funny thing is I don't know why. I'm feeling so confused right now. I have no idea what I want to do. I'm so lost. Have you ever gotten this particular feeling before? When you feel like your body is carrying our your usual regime but your soul is not there? That's how I'm feeling right now. But, (here's the good part!) today's CF sharing by Pn Julie was really good. It was about how God showed love to a small sparrow. And if he loves the little sparrow so much, how much affection does he has for us, humans? God loves us very much and God is in control of everything. One part of the sharing that woke me up was the part when God asked us to not worry. Worrying won't bring us any good. It won't add another hour to the day. So why worry?

I think this is what God has been trying to tell me all week- the love He has for me. God loves me so so much. First, through the Monday service in Advancement Camp. Jon Ngin shared about God's love. How God loves us as His son/daughters; we are part of His wonderful family. He died on the cross for us. And the bible verse for the day was 1 Cor 13. (Go look it up!) :) It's about love. A few days later, when I was tumblr-ing, I saw so many verses talking about God's love. 'Do everything in love' 1 Cor 16:14. Without love, I'll gain nothing. And today, Pn Julie shared about how much God cares for us and how much God loves us. And the CF bible verse for the week is 'And now these remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest is love' 1 Cor 13:13. Wow right? God loves us so so much. He is loves like a father.

He loves you! (:

A Woman's heart should be hidden in God, that a man must seek Him to find her.

Bubbly-licious (:

Teach me how to look for You wholeheartedly O Lord.

Hello you! (:
As I made my way into a spacious classroom that was filled with students who were seated in groups, chatting warm heartedly with one another, I made my way to my small group of friends that were seated behind the classroom. I sat on the same seat as the week before Chinese New Year and it was pretty comfortable. I was able to see the white board clearly, so I had no complains. We were all getting ready (sort of) for Pn Molly to enter the class to start our Science tuition today.

Pn Molly took was a little late today and I had some time to chat with my friends and, also, to let my mind wander a little. Suddenly, something hit me; it hit me hard all right. Well, it didn't hit me physically (if it did, I wouldn't be typing now); it hit me hard mentally.

It's the second day of the second month of year twentytwelve. Wow. I'm a two-month-old Form 3 student already! Man oh man. I haven started studying for PMR yet! 8 more months to go. Now, 8 months may be a long time, but time is flying really fast alright. So there's no time to waste!

I have been pretty busy lately, with all the activities that are happening in school and all. I'm starting to think that I'm making a lot of commitment for myself. Plus, monthly test is next week! Every night, I can fall asleep straight away although I've slept for an hour in the afternoon. I'm always tired now a these days. Lately, I've been feeling a little lost, a little confused. Do pray for me! (: Now, here are some goals that I've to reach by the end of this month...

  • Be true to myself.
  • Start sleeping early.
  • Start studying for PMR.
  • Fast Facebook for a month? #Yes, you've read it right! I'm planning to fast Facebook again. Not sure if I can. I've been so hooked to Facebook now a these days and I reckon that it's time that I start to fast again.
  • Devotion. #Fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest.# FOCUS ON GOD!!!
Ohoh! I've managed to join the debate team!!! Praise the Lord! :) Its going to be a great experience!

:) What is humanly impossible is possible for Christ!
Till then,
Bubbly-licious! :) Stay happy!

Eve of Chinese New Year Eve

So beautiful! :) Whenever I see lanterns floating in the sky in pictures like these, they always remind me of Flynn and Rapunzel from Tangled. :') P.S. I heard there's a sequel to the show! Can't wait to catch the movie in the cinema!

And I find myself waking up on the 21st of January, the third week of the year 2012. Thank God for another day of life! But take a look at the calendar, its the 21st already! The 21st day of the year! And again I find myself saying 'Time is passing so fast!'. Not cool. My dad told me that during his childhood, he never find himself saying that terrifying sentence. And it freaked him out when he's seeing so many people saying it now. I shall challenge myself to not say that terrifying sentence that often anymore. *Every Day is a Gift from God. I shall seize that daily gift! I shall walk my talk.

Oh look, it's eve of Chinese New Year eve! :D I can start making new resolutions again! That's one advantage of Chinese New Years. kekeke. Spent my night with my cousins, niece and nephew. I'm an aunt already! :D And my nieces and nephews are super adorable! As a matter of fact, they are really good in Maths. When we were playing Monopoly, I got them to do the dice calculation for me and they rocked at it! :D Can't wait to see them again tomorrow. They make me smileee. :)

There you go! A lil' update for ya! ;)
Happy Eve of Chinese New Year Eve!

Inspire

I would really want to inspire and to be an inspiration to at least one person in my life.

One day, I'm going to lie on a field of grass and enjoy the beautiful starry night sky.
I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. :)

Hello and how do you do?
Today was my 3rd day of school and I have to say that school gets better each day. School is really different for me this year, besides the fact that I go to school in the morning, the teachers treats us like a real teenager now. They look at us differently, somehow. They trust us more, they joke with us more, they expect a lot more from us and I don't know whether that's a good thing.

I got my RM100 on the first day of school and paid my tuition teacher with the money. What a great way to use the RM100 aye? It was a pretty RM100 note, just saying. haha.

CF today was kind of fun! But it wasn't official. Next week's the registrations for clubs and uniform bodies. I can't wait to see the Form 1s sign up for CF. They are so cute! haha. And when CF is official the following week, I bet it'll be so much fun! Recess meeting today was cool too. I really thank God for CF in my school. I don't know what I'll be doing if CF didn't exist.

I reckon that God has a plan for CF and for each and every single person in CF. I can't wait to see what God has in store for CF. :)

#School's great!

The smell of New Year.

Isn't this pretty? I was looking at a friend's tumblr and I saw this picture. I couldn't not blog it.
Should I get a Tumblr? Hmmm.

Shalalala, Hello! (:
It's the New Year! I can't wait to see what God has planned for me this year. Restoration is the word for this year's theme. When Pastor Henry said the word 'Restoration' I could feel the peace in my heart. I don't know why. I just feel so peaceful. Restoration. Mmmm. I helped my mom to grab the right calendar this year. Last year, my mom grabbed the Tamil version of the calendar, so everything was in Tamil except for the dates and day. :D heehee.

The colour of this year's theme is Red. That means the children church T-shirt might most likely be Red in colour. Woohoo! :) I bet it's gonna be nice. One of the speakers said this during Youth Camp 'If you don't have a personal relationship with God. Stop whatever ministry you're serving. There's no point when you serve without having a personal relationship with God'. I reckon that's so very true. I've been struggling a little, and I'll have to get right with God. It's a promise I've made with God.

Well, I'll start wearing my school uniform again in 2 days time. I'm quite excited actually, but at the same time, I'm quite nervous. I have so much in my mind; who is going to be my teacher? Will my classmates like me? Will the chair and table be nice? haha. So many more. I worry a lot, that's something I have to change. :D teeheee. Well, I didn't make a list of what to change, but I know roughly what to change. :D

  • Start waking up early; for devotion. (I have to wake up early, I'll be a morning sessioner in 2 days time!)
  • Stop worrying so much. Relax more.
*Came up with 2 on the spot! Yeah! :D haha.
*Face update: Pimples are getting lesser! HOOHAA! :)

Well, that's a short update for you!
Happy 2012! This year will be amazing, trust God. :)

Let the fireworks begin! :)

'For God so Loved the world that He gave His one and only begotten son, that who ever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.'
-John 3:16

Hello there! (:
Happy New Years Eve! Can't believe I'm saying that already. Unbelievable. This year flew by so fast and, and, and, I'm going to be fifteen next year?! No way! I've been living on earth for 1.5 decades, already! That's superb!

Gotten the opportunity to view my class list online and I wasn't very pleased about it. I'm going to be in a class filled with people I don't really know, again. And I don't know what God has in mind for me. Don't get me wrong. I know God has a great plan for me, but I'm just scared. I don't know what to expect. I mean, life is kind of interesting when you don't know what's going to happen next, but its scary at times. But no matter what, I'm gonna have to leave in all to God. *But I may never know, I might have loads of fun too. :)

Can't wait for watch night service tonight at church. Can't wait to see the fireworks. Can't wait :)

I feel reluctant to leave this year (2011) behind. I had such great fun this year. I had much more fun than I expected. God was with me each step of the way. He helped me through the tough trainings for MSSD in Netball; helped my in my studies; helped me grow; everything. He has always been there for Him. He loved me more than I do. He's just so awesome. I love this year and I will miss this year and will always remember this year.

I'll wrap up this post with my favourite verse:

'It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure'
Psalms 18:32

*I can never face this world alone.

Happy New Year 2012! :)
The world is not going to end. . . :)

Moments captured; Moments remembered.

'We do not remember days we remember moments'
Well, I remember both. :)

Hello there! (:
Today my agenda had a impromptu 180 degrees change when my adorable twelve-year-old cousin invited me to her school (my Alma mater too) for her graduation the night before I hit the sacks. Well, I decided to go without any hesitation. I decided to take this opportunity to not only meet my adorable cousin, but to also pay a visit to my Alma mater. I remember the last time I visited my Alma mater was more than a year ago- February 2010 to celebrate Chinese New Year.

So, it has been over a year ago.

To be frank, I thought I would not miss my Alma mater so badly when I left for my current school. But, as my dad drove me to my Alma mater, I started remember the moments I had in my Alma mater; the thought of the craziest things I did with my friends starting rushing into my mind.

Not too long later, I reached my destination; my Alma mater - SJK (C) Yuk Chai. It has been awhile; a long while Yuk Chai, I thought to myself before I alighted my dad's car.

When I was about to walk in, I bumped into Sophia. I was shocked to see her at first, but it all made perfect sense after 30 seconds of mental thinking. Sophia has a younger sister that so happened to be twelve too. So, Sophia should be here for her younger sister's graduation. TAADAA. :) So we walked into our Alma mater together.

Not too long before we graduated (Year 2009) from Yuk Chai, Yuk Chai had a major renovation. They widen and upgraded the school's hall with air conditioning. We were very eager to see the brand new hall for we have never seen it yet. We were Wow-ing all the way when we saw the new hall. We couldn't recognise it at all. They did a great make over for the hall alright! (:

We took our seats and we listened to the headmaster's speech. Everyone was seated on chairs and were sitting so comfortably. I remembered last time when I was having assembly here, we were all standing. We didn't even get to sit! We got the shock of our lives when we saw Pn Lim (my current school's discipline teacher) taking a seat beside us. She looked at us and smiled. She recognises us and she questioned us about our presence. We told her and we asked her the same thing. Turns out, Pn Lim is attending her youngest son's graduation and her son got straight As in UPSR. Smart kid.

We didn't like listening to long speeches. So we decided to take the advantage and tour around the school after such an incredibly long time. We were walking and talking about all the stuff we did together here. We saw how much our Alma mater changed for the better. They planted more plants around the little pond they made few years back. They were lovely. :) Some things didn't change, like the little book shop that's located opposite of the hall. I used to buy a lot of cute little things from that little book shop. Sadly, it was closed today.

Memories after memories kept flooding our minds as we found ourselves at the canteen. I wanted to experience the feeling of buying food in the canteen again for I always purchase something when it was recess here, without fail. So, I did and it was fun. :) We then walked up a flight of stairs and we headed to our old classroom - 6I. We sat in the classroom for a short while that's long enough to let us absorb everything into our eyes. And again, memories.

We hurried back into the hall when we heard loud music for we didn't want to miss the performance. We managed to seize some of the performances just in time before it ended. They were dancing to the song 'Party Rock Anthem'. They were looking cool with their beggy clothes and jackets. Modern influences. :) Nice dance moves. :) haha. Through that, we remembered about our inter-class dance competition we had just before we left our Alma mater. Good times, good times.

We made our way back to our seats which is located at the back of the hall. We sat as they were giving out prizes to the students that did amazingly academically and physically. We cheered but we stopped when we realized that we were the only ones that were cheering.

Then, it was time for all the students to sing their graduation song. Everyone stood as they sang. Now, things were starting to get very emotional. Students managed to hold their tears when they sang. But, once the song stopped and they were stacking up chairs, I saw students crying and hugging one another (both girls and boys).

As I sat on the bench at the back of the hall, I was experiencing the most touching and emotional feeling ever. Teachers were hugging their students and they whispered something into their students' ears. Something encouraging, I guess. Teachers and students gathered together and took silly pictures together and after every picture, they'll have a group hug and I could see eyes turning red. I, too, saw two girls hugging each other for a long time with their eyes close but their mouths were moving. I couldn't make out what they were saying, but I was pretty sure that it's something like this 'I'll miss you so much, best friends forever'. This scene became more emotional when they played soothing and emotional songs.

I can't help but to think about what happened in my graduation two years ago. It was similar to what was happening right before my eyes. So emotional, so innocent &pure. It definitely pulled my heartstrings and I was about to cry, too. I know how it feels to leave your friends, leave your wonderful teachers and your Alma mater. Words can't describe how I felt when I experienced the scene.

Through this, I once again thought about what my brother said a few months ago on Facebook. He is right when he said that I was growing up too fast. Time is slipping away extremely fast. Soon, I will turn 15 and I will be 16 the following year. I can't stop time; it's not in my control. So, not matter how much I do not want to grow up, I will still grow up eventually. Well, life is full of surprises - that's the best part! Time, can you please slow down, for once?

All the memories that I've made with my family &friends in the past, will always occupy a big place in my heart. As I walk my present life with the people around me; I promise myself that I will live every second to the fullest and capture every single moment and remember them. As I approach the future with God by my side, I know that there's nothing left for me to fear. He has written my life plan personally and I'm excited to find out what He has in store for me. :)

Have a lovely weekend! (:
Till then,
Love you truck loads!

If Only...

If only it snows in Malaysia.
Don't get me wrong, I love Malaysia. I just thought that it'll be cooler if it snowed.
*smiles widely*

Koniciwaaa! (:
It has been a while. Hmmmmm... IT'S THE HOLIDAYS ALREADY! (: So far, so good I guess. I hope it gets better! I've got a lot of things to tell you!

Oh yeah, before I start, I just wanna let you know that I am trying my best to not let this post be boring to the eyes. :) So hear it goes...

Christmas is a month (or more) away and my Christmas tree is up and looking pretty already! All that's lacking is the lights! Will get it tomorrow I think. YAY! My Christmas tree can look so much prettier with the lights up!

I've decided to make a to-accomplish-list for myself for I think it'll help me live a more proper and decent plus productive 1 and a half month holiday. :D I'm not done with the list yet though, there's so much on my mind. I'll blog about it once I'm done! (: haha.

My guitar test will be held in exactly 7 days time! I'm freaking out already! Do keep me in your prayers! (: haha. Will be going for my braces appointment soon too. Remember I told you about my tooth getting a ring? ITS GETTING IT SOON! :)

Well, I'm off to clean up my brother's room so I get to 'take over' his room. But, I'll have to hand it back to him when he comes back for the holidays and stuff, but I don't mind. At least I get to have a proper room to study for PMR next year! P.S. You would not want to know how I've been studying. :D

-This is my most kiddy post here ever- YAY! (:
Toodles!
