Truly, ''life without love is really worthless''.
Bonjour and how is your week? :)
ITS FRIDAY! YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS? ITS TIME TO PARTY. BUT BEFORE THAT, I HAVE TO STUDY. IT RYHMES, I think. But yeah. :D I got the timetable for my Midterm and guess what? My Midterm is starting on the 10th instead of the 4th of May. God is good. More time to study!
Today, I did something that I have been craving to do for the past few weeks - I rode my bike again! I would take a picture of my cute bicycle but my dad kind of misplaced my camera, so I have no choice but to google a picture of a bike, and I got the above picture.
My superly awesome dad took time off from his busy schedule to take my lovely 3-year-old bike for a lil' make over. Well, it's not really a make over, but my dad got my brakes and the basket that's hanging in front of my bike fixed. My dad hired air and got my tires pumped! Woohoo! I am one happy girl alright.
I grabbed my iPod and off I went bike riding around my neighbourhood. I was blasting music into my ears at the start of the bike ride, but I decided to stop the blasting of music and let whatever sounds -the sounds of trees dancing, the sounds of cars, the sounds of children's laughter- that are around to fill my ears. It was around 7 when I rode my bike. I was expecting raindrops to fall from the sky, for it was extremely dark, but none fell - thank God.
I took my usual route around the neighbourhood and decided to be like Katniss; so I did a lil' 'trespassing' to another 'District' - I rode through a little green fence gate and entered another neighbourhood. I felt so heroine-ish. :)
It felt great to be riding on a bike after such a long time - a long and stressful time. I have to say, this year has been my most hectic year. But, let's not let the hectic-ness ruin my awesome bike riding moment.
It felt great to be riding again; it felt great to feel the cool crisp evening air; it felt soothing to see the serene park; it felt good to see kids playing in the park; it felt awesome to see my alma mater - SJK (C) Yuk Chai, again.
I thank God for bikes. And I thank my daddy for fixing my bike. :) This only means one thing, *echos one thingg*, more bike rides! :)
