Hello you!
It has definitely been awhile and you do not know how much I missed you. How much I have missed writing to you. Although I'm pretty sure I'm not suppose to be here right now, I just have that urge to want to share something with you. You know, that urge you get when you've got to do what you've got to do? For me, this is one of those urges.
There are many things in life. The big things and small things. The elephant and the rat. And there are a couple of them that makes me grin from ear to ear whenever I see them. The first, would be the one that I have just recently encountered last Sunday. It was during Children's Church session. I was helping to set things up for the day. Soon, the little kids entered the little room that was specially made for them. And there was this one boy, whose name I came to know about, Isaac, that caught my attention. He was in orange (a bright orange, no doubt he'll catch your attention too) and the minute he entered the room, he had his mischievous grin on.
As quickly as he came in, he disappeared out the door again. This time yelling for mommy. Not the annoying kind, but the cheeky kind. I couldn't help but followed him and what happened next just made my Sunday morning. He was running towards his mother asking his mother to hand him his mentos. The mother could not help but chuckled a little at her adorable son's behavior. She handed him his small orange box of mentos and off he came running back to the door. I asked him for a mentos, but he just shoved the sweet box he just received from his mother into his pocket; not wanting someone else spot his treat. I smiled, although I did not receive the mentos I longed for, because I know what was hidden secretly in his pocket. And it was a little silent secret made between me and isaac.
That was one of my highlights of the week. Seeing little children makes me happy. They have the special ability to magically make you smile no matter how bad your day has been. Watching old grandpa and grandma having their moment is something that could make my heart warm too. Coming home to blueberry cereals is one of the most effective way to make me smile, just so you know. I don't mind receiving blueberry cereals for my birthday, Christmas and New Year's gift. hint hint. ;)
I'm sure there are many things that make your lips twitch upwards too. Think about those little things or moments and I guarantee it will help to turn your frown upside down.
till i see you again,
show the world your sweetest smile! :)
