Day One - San Francisco

The sun was not up yet, but my mom and I were in my brother's car off to 99 Ranch Market. Why? Well, we're gonna join a local tour to San Francisco. It's a Mandarin/English tour. Most of the people in the tour is Asian. The tour bus is yellow in colour. Reminds my of Spongebob.

We reached 99 Ranch Market around 6.30 am. We looked for our names on a piece of paper and off we went up the bus. The bus is huge and quite comfortable. We were assigned to our seats.

Well, I woke up really early, so we slept in the bus on the way to SF. It was a 8 hour trip. We had stops here and there for the passengers in the bus have to get out of the bus, take a break and use the restroom.

Our first stop was at Slavang really small town in California. Small town, but beautiful. The buildings here are not that high ( due to earthquakes ) and have a Denish kind of design. Really really pretty. We had hot dogs for lunch in this small town.

Then, we continue our bus ride to SF. But before we leave for SF, we have another stop at Hearst Castle. Hearst Castle is a National Historic Landmark Mansion located on the Central Coast of California. We didn't pay the fee to enter the castle, but we could see it from afar. It is built on top of a hill. And it was huge. Really really huge.

The last stop before we head for SF was the beach. This wasn't any ordinary beach, you can't walk on the sand for elephant seals are all over the place. Elephant seals are sun tanning themselves on the beach. They were burying themselves in sand and playing with each other. So cute.

Many hours later ( I lost count ), we reached Newark, San Francisco. We had a buffet dinner at AA Buffet. They have big variety of food - Chinese, Western and Japanese. Besides that, the food was delicious. We had a big feast before we reached our hotel, Courtyard Marriott.

Around 8 we reached our hotel and we stayed in Room 332. We had to sleep early for our wake up call is 6a.m.
