There's nothing between you and your dream

Hello there! (:
Hello August! It's a new month and we/I have 5 months left til twenty-eleven ends. 'Time waits for no man'; so true! If I get to choose a super power, I would want to have the ability to freeze time whenever I want. That will be so cool! :) Anyhoos, I HAVE THREE MORE DAYS TO BEST RANGER!! It's so close! O: I'm excited yet scared at the same time. The commanders are going to be superb serious during Best Ranger; probably another side of them that I've never seen before. I absolutely don't know what to expect this Saturday. I hope everything goes well and I hope that God's presence will be upon all of us - best ranger candidates. Well, winning isn't everything. I will definitely carry a heart that's willing to learn and learn everything that I need to learn; correct and improve everything I have to in order to be a better person physically, mentally, spiritually and socially. I'll do my very best for the Lord and everything I'm doing is for Him and Him alone. (:

I started today with a different routine. 6 wonderful and pretty girlfriends of mine paid a visit to an orphanage called Rumah Hope. I was pretty excited to see and to communicate with the children over there. I found out (through their website) that the children there are either abuse or neglected by they're parents, which is something really sad to know. Once we entered the home, I felt a really nice and comfortable feeling, a feeling that's unexplainable.

I talked to the person in charge of the children and found out that all the children here are pretty and handsome children of God. That was something really good to hear and know in the morning. Sadly, I didn't get to meet all the children for most of them were in school already, but I met two beautiful angels - Grace (11) and Mercy (9).

Grace and Mercy.
*Mercy drew a picture of Spongebob for me!! (: and I love it!
They were talking softly at the hall and Grace was completing her homework when we approached them. It took some time to break the ice, but the ice was definitely worth breaking. They started talking to me like they knew me for ages. We talked about almost everything and anything from school to sports. We talked a little about the bible too. And these two lovely angels told me their favourite verses. It's so good to know that they're so attached to God at such a young age. God is definitely working in them and He has a great plan for them. They even told me their ambition.

Grace - 'I want to be a nurse'

Mercy- 'I want to be a baker'

It's so nice to know that these girls know what they want to be in the future. Well, one thing is for sure, I didn't know what I wanted to be when I was their age. We talked some more and they showed us their rooms and library. We took some pictures and then the hardest part of the visit arrived. We had to leave. It was so hard to leave Grace and Mercy. I hugged them and they hugged me back. It was just so very hard to leave them. They are such wonderful girls and I wonder why are they even here? Why did God place them here? I didn't know the answers to these questions until just now. God has a reason for everything He does and maybe He placed these two girls here to let me know that no matter what happens in your life, you can overcome it with God. I don't know the story of how these two girls ended up in Rumah Hope, but I know that they're real strong in heart and mind and that they can always count on God. I will definitely pay them another visit! (:

Love you truck loads!
HAPPY AUGUST! (:
