One day I will see the beautiful Aurorae. One day. |

Stumbling upon these pictures when I was using Google was definitely soothing for the eyes - especially two small ones. I reckon I was always fond of things that are not on Earth, literally. I am in love with outer space (after knowing more about the universe in Science). It is filled with so much mystery and each time a scientist discovers something, it'll always be something mind-blowing. It'll always be something beyond imaginable. I've always wondered what it'll be like to be floating in space. Maybe it'll be like swimming but instead I'll be swimming in nothing. I have always wished to observe its beauty up close. And maybe my dream of flying will finally be a reality.
I guess my God is like space. Ever mysterious, ever exciting Him is so hard to predict. Sometimes it can be a good thing, sometimes it isn't. It's hard trying to figure God out. But, when you throw you're life to God and let Him take control, you'll be amaze; everything will fall perfectly into place. Albeit it may be tough, at least I know someone great is in control.
Stars are formed by a cluster of dust. Dust; something humans reckon is dirty and is something humans constantly try to get rid of. However God chose dust as the main ingredient for the formation of stars. God, too, named the stars He placed in the sky. I can't even count the number of stars in the sky, how can I even come up with names to name them?
To Him, nothing is ugly or useless. He uses everyone regardless of their status or family background. He made everything and everyone beautiful. He took the time to name the stars, what else will he not do for you? You were put into so much consideration when you were being created and He made so many finishing touches before announcing you to the world as His end product. You are beautiful. Don't let the world decide what's beautiful; show the world what's beautiful.
I strongly reckon that beauty has to be seen in a different perspective. Don't you think it's boring to look at things in one angle? Well, photographers constantly look for different angles to seize a different beauty of the object. Why don't we try that?

So let's reconsider what beautiful is and not let the media portray that word for us. I'm tired of hearing news about girls sticking their fingers into their throats after every meal. I'm sick of seeing girls cutting themselves just because they think they're not beautiful. Just like the stars in the sky, we were all genuinely made; different thumbprints, dreams and thoughts. Each of us have our own orbit (just like the planets when they make their way around the sun) to take in life. No one can ever take your place because there's only one you.

So, be you. Be true to yourself.
*Just a quick question:
How do you know what you want is what God wants (for you) and at the same time is what you really want?
