The Race

'And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God'
- Hebrews 12:1-2

Hello!
It was the 6th period. BM period. We were having our monthly test. Before this, someone pointed out that there was smoke outside the window. I looked. My mouth was opened wide. I saw fire! I was seated at the back of the classroom, on the third floor, watching a fire scene across the road.

The temperature was really high. It was really hot. I think the grass probably caught fire, and the fire spread. It spread around the area. Thanked God the house didn't caught fire. Some other classmates of mine saw the fire too. Man! This is the best yet the worst senario ever. We told teacher, but teacher didn't want to call. He said :'' The house is not on fire. If the house is on fire, the smoke will be black, not white.''

We can't do anything but to watch the plants get burnt. I was praying and hoping for someone to do something. And hoping that no one is home, if not he/she might get hurt. Slowly the fire got smaller and smaller. The fire-fighters arrived when the fire was already down. =.='' Thank God that no one got hurt. Pity the grass and plants that got burnt :(
