Heal my heart and make me clean.
Yellow! (Spongebob's language) (:
The sun was hanging high in the sky. It was shining really brightly too. It was making us, the students, sweating like mad cows on the field today. But, at least it didn't rain. The Chinese New Year's one week holiday flew by in a blink of an eye, seriously. And now, I'm back to my daily/school routine. P.S I'm still in the Chinese New Year mood (:
Today, I got the shock of my life. My school bus, yes the one that had a major transformation (the one that transformed from a non-air conditioned bus to one that is), didn't come and pick yours truly up. I waited and waited, but still there was no sign of my school bus. School was about to start, and I'm still here, in my house, waiting for my bus, with my dog. I had to do something. I called my grandpa, no luck. He is already in Genting. D: My grandparents are major freaks about Genting. Well, I guess when you're their age, you'll find it nice going up that winding road. I like the weather in Genting. (: haha.
So, grand daddy is out of my list. My daddy is working so I can't bother him, so was my mom. But I did bother my mom for awhile. I asked my mom to contact Uncle Arthur (whose son goes to the same secondary school with me) and see whether I could catch a ride. Thank God that Uncle Arthur was still at home getting ready to send his son to school and therefore, I got a ride to school! (: Yay me!
I reached school in the nick of time. Pheww. (: I didn't get the late slip! (: When I was walking into the canteen to catch my friends, I saw a friend of mine that takes the same bus to school. She was going to the canteen too. I quicken my steps and manage to catch up with her. She told me that the my bus broke down, therefore Uncle Lee couldn't send us to school. Aww.. how sad. My school bus BROKE DOWN! I wonder how am I going to go to school tomorrow. Should I trouble Uncle Arthur again? :D I wouldn't want to trouble him again. I do hope that my bus is fine. (:
Here are some bible verses that touched me. (and I thought that I could relate it to my life, sort of) :-
'For God didn't send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.' John 3:17.
'But seek him first the kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.' Matthew 6:33.
And my all time favourite....
'Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.' 1Timothy 4:12.
*thumbs up for the word of God*
My dad once said that everything that is written on the newspapers are what men aren't suppose to do and what is written in the bible is what men are suppose to do. Well, it's pretty true :) Reading the newspapers can be really scary at times. So many scary and horrible things are happening to the world now a these days.
RESCUE is coming.
